Pixelknight II
« on: Tue, Apr 6, 2010 »
Hello everyone,

I made a sequel to my first flixel game "Pixelknight". Though it's not a survival game this time ;)
Thanks for all the nice suggestions. Some of them made it into part II.

Any feedback is appreciated, so thank you.

Great fun indeed. But why do I have to chose between uploading my score and starting all over or continueing but reseting the score? In my case I've chosen the score (35k) but now I'm not really motivated to play all the levels from the beginning again...

Thanks for the comments so far.

@lithander:
I tried to add an extra challenge by giving the game a mochi scoreboard.
Your score is the price you pay for dying. If you just wanna play through you can do this, because there is no continue limit (like in a lot of old arcade games).

Maybe it wasn't the best idea though :/

I don't mind getting punished for dying. I just don't want to get punished for uploading my score! :) Why not allow me to upload the score after the first death, then reset the score but allow me to explore the game further just like if I hadn't uploaded the score?

I'm so stressed with this game!
:)

I like it, but I think you really should do something with the main character's animations. It's really tight, but not in a good way.

Anyway, it's cool :)

very nice, it's pretty much like an arcade game, thumbs up.
Improve the graphics and it will be like ghost and goblins.
Only problem is that some of the weapons are useless.
Are you getting that sponsored?
