[SOLVED] Larger Tilemaps than SWF resolution?
« on: Fri, Jul 16, 2010 »
Right now I have a tilemap that is larger than the SWF resolution and my player is not colliding with the tiles outside of the resolution.

Is there any way to make large tilemaps or do I need huge SWF resolutions?

Nah, you can have massive tilemaps. Collision is done with an array of bounding boxes and doesn't depend on anything being onscreen. You might need to define the world boundaries with FlxU.setWorldBounds
