Font Editing
« on: Tue, Sep 15, 2009 »
I've tried to do this already but I can't seem to find the right tools. Does anyone know how to edit font files so it would be possible to add some Glyphs to the default flixel Nokia font that look like the Flixel Arrow and Z/X/C glyphs (the ones in help) for writing control hints more easily.

I haven't really looked into it yet, but that's something I'm planning to do as well. In terms of free font editors, FontForge looks promising.

You can also find a lot of good pixelated fonts on Auntie Pixelante's blog.

Apparently Auntie Pixelante uses the editor FontCreator to make her fonts. I think I'll try it out.
