Reflection Sprite
« on: Wed, May 18, 2011 »
Hi there --

I've been poking around with the iOS port and am trying to figure out if this might be possible.

I'd like to basically make a mirror for an upcoming game I have about duality and the reversal.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about making an object that can reflect what is right in front of it in a direction?

I was trying to see if I could get a rectangle of the buffer and just scale it to the reverse, but even that I'm not sure how to do.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've written something like this already in Flixel v2.43b and Flixel v2.50, in AS3.

It would theoretically work in Flixel iOS, except for the fact that the draw() method doesn't do anything (it's one of the missing features). So when that gets done, it should be pretty easy... :P
