Most similar thing to flixel in iOS world.

Hi,

As I've read flixel's port to iOS is not that good yet and after release of Lemonade Factory I expected it's port's release but I think that didn't happen or I was absent on those days even if it did ( please let me know if it did ).

So for making a platformer on iOS, what's the best platformer engine/framework?

Flixel-iOS isn't as fleshed out as 2.55.

Cocos2D looks like the most active 2D framework.

But also Unity looks like a good choice. Futile2D is C# and Flixel for Unity is JavaScript.

Thanks, I had no idea we have flixel for Unity!

Do you by any chance know what game engine Revonous Games use for their platformers, i.e. Random Heros or League of Evil?

It is a bit late to reply, but since I know the answer I decided to post for future users as well.

Ravenous Games has been using Cocos2D for a while, even though I know they are experimenting with Unity3d (they talked about it in their Twitter feed).

They have been fairly active in the Cocos2D forums.
