WIP: Pixel Escape
« on: Thu, Dec 20, 2012 »
Hey Guys! I've finally put my first game on FGL. It's not completely finished, but I think I can do it in a week or so.
What have started as a small prototype done in 24 hours on a game jam, now becoming a small fun flash game [ =

Wow, this is alot of fun. I love what you've done here [ic:mariostar]
You should port this to Android and iPhone too, I think it would work well on mobile.

I will start working on ios and android versions as soon as flash version is released.
So far I runed it on Nexus 7. Feels very good to draw with a finger

For some reason it wont load for me on fgl. It's been a while since I've logged in there.

Game looks great though. :)

Yeah, had the same problem, the link somehow directs me to the login page and after logging in to the dashboard. I managed to access the game through grisevg's profile.

The game sorta reminded me of Solipskier first, but then I found out that you can jump as well, so its a combination of drawing (Solipskier) and jumping (Canabalt) I guess. It also differs from other auto-runners in the regard of having levels, not just a survival mode.

Would work nicely on DS as well. If you'd need a library for that, let me know :P It's in C++, but somehow, I think that's no problem for you.

Great idea!

I'm leaving feedback on FGL.

Check it out on Mochi!

Funny idea and lovely graphics. I'd make the spikes a bit different, because now there are stones which do not hurt the pixels, and spikes which look similar to the stones, but kill the pixels.

Thanks a lot guys! Good feedback gives a lot of motivation!

2Esti: Thanks a lot for a feedback, will try to solve this nasty camera stutterer. I played game so much, I forgot about it. Now I can see again that it's really spoils the feeling of a game.

2Raf Maybe if a game gets a good reception, and after ios and android versions... maybe... no point in thinking about it now though.

2boogaga Thanks for noticing! I'll speak with an artists, and will take a closer look at it during the playtesting.
