Give Tilemap Blend Modes?

Hello! I have a tilemap of graffiti to be drawn over buildings in the environment, but they look terrible without an overlay blend. Does anyone know how to apply a blend mode to a tilemap? I searched the forums and only found two threads from years ago with no answers.

I suppose the other solution is to create sprites at the right indexes and give them the blend mode, but I'm curious if anyone has solutions alternate solutions.
