total noob here, doing tutorial here ...
« on: Sat, Oct 10, 2015 »

http://videlais.com/2013/10/18/making-a-game-with-flash-develop-flixel-part-6-cameras-and-text/

When I run this demo, the whole thing doesn't seem very smooth at all.
I googled around and changed constructor from
super(320, 240, PlayState, 2);
to
super(320, 240, PlayState, 2,60,60);

It just doesn't seem like a very smooth game like, for instance, the flash game in ...

http://flashvhtml.com/flash/

It all seems very jittery and stuff.

Can I do all that smooth stuff with Flixel ?

Thanks

I can confirm you can get a smooth 60fps with Flixel. But I must ask, what version of flash are you using to compile Flixel? There are a couple of things that may be causing this.

Thanks for reply, sorry for not getting back to you sooner

To be honest with you, I'm not sure. I just dont understand all this Lime Flixel Haxe Flash Flex Neko OpenFL.
Im using Flash Develop. 5.0.1.3
If it's Flex thats doing the compiling, its flex_sdk_4.5.1.2132A.
