Hey, I'm apparently a snail fighting off an unlimited supply of crabs to some rockin' chiptunes!

It's pretty cool, though it does get repetitive after a while.  I played to around 250.  By this point, I'd expect the game to be challenging the ever-loving pants off of me, OR to have some variation to keep my attention.  But it's just crabs no matter how long I play, and it doesn't appear to have gotten any harder.

Hahah, I enjoy your thirst for more difficulty. It seems there is a division between most players - Some people can stay at the top easily and want more to do, and others can't get past 10 kills without dying. I've already implemented a few ways for the game to start off at an easier difficulty, but now I'm also working on ways to make it much harder the higher you go. Thanks for checking the game out auriplane, and I'd advise you to check back in a few days to see what updates I've made.

help / Re: Embedded font is heavily anti-aliased

As far as I know, Flixel just doesn't play well with certain fonts. I've tried embedding this particular font before but with no avail.

If you would really like to use that font I would just pre-render the text and embed it as a sprite.

Thanks for the feedback. I've gotten a few reports that the game was was a bit tricky, so I released a new update that helps the difficulty climb more gradually (slower starting spawn rate and weaker enemies).

Please keep the feedback coming!  :-*

Hey guys, I'd just like to drop in and announce the release of oneweakness.com's latest development: BUG FIGHTER.

http://oneweakness.com/bugfighter

You get to play as the bug of your choice and defeat hordes of enemies, aiming for the high score, which uses mochi's API. I've also included online multiplayer so you and a friend can play co-op matches. Each bug has it's own unique set of attacks and moves, and I plan to gradually increase the roster or characters and stages for as long as I'm developing games. There's also an item system that allows you to buy items that change your stats, the weather conditions, improve status inflictions, etc...

I'm pretty excited about this release, and if you like it or know someone who might please tell them about it.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, as I'm always looking for ways to improve. Let me know what you think.
